The SilverStone TS08 is a unique way to use the drive compartment in your notebook to fit an additional hard drive. Unlike other computers where you would need a specialized modular slot created for this purpose, the SilverStone TS08 fits most notebooks on the market.
This reduction is versatile and therefore compatible with notebooks with a 9.5mm drive height. Just insert a 2.5" SATA drive into the available space and plug in instead of your original drive. You'll appreciate this extra storage if you wish to extend the data capacity of your computer. The extra capacity may also be used as a backup mechanism.
